Humble Beginnings

When these words are ushered, many things pop into my mind, some various clothing labels, some great trends that took some what 20 years to be established, but in true style star fashion our own South African leading lady had a very humble beginning herself from ballet scholarships to heating up the red-carpet in Hollywood. Ironically she has been dubbed as the queen of the red carpet, after her jaw dropping performance in "Snow White and The Huntsman" and then we haven't even uttered a word about her costumes/gowns on and off screen.
 

Looking as flawless as ever in her dust pink Dior Couture creation that she sported at the 69th Golden Globe Awards in 2012. Charlize is the one we can all count on to bring the fire with her asymmetrical frocks and designer jewelry. As one the sought after Hollywood it-girls it goes without saying that Charlize will be hanging out with some of my idols.Looking fabulous as always in this grey and white rose print shift dress with the wedding gown extraordinaire and ready wear newby, Vera Wang, who had a humble beginning herself.Have you ever heard of anybody dressing down when knowing that you will be instagramed with the fashion journalist of the century, I don't think so but Theron has done so looking sleek and chic and even up staging Anna Wintour herself in the casual but crucial paring key items.

These words sung by Beyonce herself in "Freakum Dress", tell you exactly what we are dealing with and that is a diva of note and does she know how to dress alright. Whether she rocks out in couture fro music videos or shopping Harrods for Louboutins, Ms. B does it in true Style-Star fashion.

As one of the biggest fashion icons to grace the music industry she is a true Trail-Blazer* for all artists from various mediums and when it come to our medium, FASHION, we tell you why she is our Style-Star of the Week. With Knowles being able to alternate between personalities (B and Sasha-Fierce) her style stays true to who she is and what she has to offer, which is one of the most celebrated bodies of all time. When it comes to dressing for the red carpet she plays around with fitted floor length gowns, picked out with the perfect cut to make her voluminous body pop in all the right places. When Sasha-Fierce comes alive on stage she doesn't shy away from sexy glamour, with more distinctive exposure of her curves, she flaunts it all in designer minis and leotards that keep your eye on her as if her beautiful words and quick-step moves don't.

No matter what day and age you would find B, she would be dressed ready for a photo shoot, and while being pregnant didn't stop her from doing so nothing will. Lately Beyonce would wear something blue every time she steps out solo and has to leave her daughter, Blue Ivy Carter at home.

We all know that Beyonce Knowles is on of the best female artists of all time and has been uber successful, so it is inevitable to say that she obviously doesn't clean all of her 16 Grammy Awards without doing one or two fabulous costume changes...

As we all know a picture is worth a thousand words, and when Lea stepped out at the Golden Globe Awards wearing Oscar de la Renta, we all knew that she had arrived without even uttering a sound. She sticks to the basics on fashion and wears what she feels confident in and something that drops down low and shows a bit of her fabulous complexion. When Lea roams around the streets of LA in a more casual number she sticks to trends of the the season and again flaunts her gorgeous legs when ever she can.

We might be able to say that, Lea is still a novice when it comes to playing dress-up, but her bold and confident choices keep your eye on her and her alone.

Apparently it was a good thing that our Style-Star of the Week's name was lost in translation for she is known as one of our Trail-Blazers* and that is exactly what she is, a female trendsetter.

This Trail-Blazer* doesn't just look the part a fashion illustration but also fits in perfectly with our Trend of the week. She has brought Safari-Chic too a whole new level that everyone can take note of.

She kept in trend with the high waisted ankle length pants in a sandy beige and paired it with a lovely brown skinny belt. Whilst adding texture to her outfit but still keeping it cool for the summer is a cream knitted tank.

Our Trail-Blazer* also has a eye for the part of fashion a lot of people cannot grasp properly that is the art of accessorising. Staying true too her style she sticks with her oversize tortoise shell frames, playing it safe with the basic caramel patent leather bag and that perfect camo green sandal.
